 IT is a good option to do Post graduation in medicine at Germany.

Duration of the program is around 3 1/2 yrs for MD, for super-specialization it is5yrs .

While doing the admission process student has to undergo German language program upto – B2 level. There are levels like A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, so one has to learn upto B2 level.

Once the language, admission and visa process done, student travels to Germany and he/she will undergo three months of hospital training in govt hospitals to know the medical terms and to get used in Germany language.
 
After that she/he will be placed in post graduation program.

During the post graduate program, students are paid around 3800 to 4300 Euros per month as stipend. Student needs to pay taxes 30% of his salary or stipend but while coming back to India all the taxes amount is paid back to student. 

   Indian medical diplomas of candidates who are registered as a medical doctor in their home country and who fulfill all the requirements and have send in all their documents have a very good chance to get a provisional license to practice medicine. With this license, they can work as a fully-paid assistant doctor at a German hospital, but they will have to pass a national test ("Kenntnisprüfung") within 12 to 18 months after having acquired the provisional license. After having passed the "Kenntnisprüfung", they will be a fully-registered doctor in Germany.

- We want to point out that under certain circumstances the applicant has to pass a theoretical exam during a period of 18 months to get his final license to practice medicine. During this period, the applicant holds a limited license which turns into an unlimited license to practice medicine after passing this exam. Only the appropriate authorities are responsible for any decision whether an exam has to be passed and what its topics are. The appropriate authorities also decide on the grant of the final license to practice medicine. The examination of the state of knowledge has an additional fee of about 200-500€ (2012), which is at the applicant’s expense. 

Most of the universities provide free accommodation.

Monthly expenses would be around 300 to 500 euros.

After Completion of the course, he /she can apply for Green Card – PR.

How to start the process

3.    IELTS 6.0 required
